Before EP worked in her village, 14 year old Ana Margarita was like 80 percent of rural Nicaraguans. She had no clean water and no sanitation at home. Ana often missed school because she was either sick from drinking polluted water or was walking miles to fetch water when she longed to be in a schoolroom.
But now Ana is able to carry books, not buckets. She dreams of being a school teacher. Thanks to your support, Ana is happy and healthy after receiving what she calls “this great gift:” the gift of clean water.
